   Brutality of murder seems extreme. The cord seemed like an extra component often associated with a sexual crime. Was Carpenter capable of a big boy murder of this magnitude in your mind? Were there any possible jealous boyfriends or husbands looked at or was Carpenter really the only viable possibility? Could familial DNA give us a hit? Or was it just Carpenter did it but we just can’t get enough conclusive evidence. Idol thoughts from a distance. I’m an ex cop criminal justice professor with very limited knowledge of case.
